Social Media Policy

Lord of Aesthetics – The Woodlands, Texas

Purpose

This Social Media Policy outlines the standards and guidelines for the use of social media platforms by Lord of Aesthetics staff, contractors, and affiliates. The purpose is to protect client confidentiality, uphold HIPAA compliance, and maintain the luxury, professional image of our brand.

1. Brand Representation

- All content posted on official Lord of Aesthetics accounts must reflect our core values: excellence, artistry, science, and discretion. - Only authorized personnel may post, respond, or engage on official brand accounts. - All media must align with our brand’s luxury aesthetic and voice.

2. HIPAA Compliance

- No Protected Health Information (PHI) may be posted without the patient’s written consent. - Before-and-after photos require signed Photo/Media Release Forms and must be stored securely. - Conversations, messages, or comments that disclose patient identity or treatment details are strictly prohibited without authorization.

3. Professional Boundaries

- Staff must maintain professional interactions on personal social media when communicating with clients. - Avoid “friending” or “following” patients from personal accounts unless the relationship pre-dates the professional interaction. - Direct treatment advice should only be given through approved clinical channels, not social media messages.

4. Content Guidelines

- All posts should be educational, inspirational, and brand-aligned. - Avoid language or visuals that could be interpreted as unprofessional, misleading, or in violation of medical advertising regulations. - Promotional offers and pricing must be accurate and comply with Texas Medical Board guidelines. - Any reposts or shared content must credit the original source and have proper permissions.

5. Personal Social Media Use

- Employees should not claim to represent Lord of Aesthetics unless authorized. - When discussing the aesthetics industry or our brand online, include a disclaimer: “Views expressed are my own and do not represent Lord of Aesthetics.” - Do not share internal documents, policies, or business information.

6. Crisis & Negative Feedback

- All complaints or negative reviews should be addressed privately and professionally through approved channels. - Never argue with or publicly confront a client online. - Escalate serious or sensitive online situations to management immediately.

7. Policy Violations

Failure to follow this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, and potential legal consequences for HIPAA violations.
